If you love walking, you can reach the city centre on foot. In a short time you can reach the San Giovanni and Paolo Basilica or get to the Rione Monti, one of the most characteristic and ancient districts in Rome. Passing by Piazza dell’Esquilino, where you can find Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, you can go on to Via Nazionale, Piazza Barberini and Via del Corso. Going through Colle Oppio Park – rising on the vestiges of Nero’s Domus Aurea – you can reach the superb San Pietro in Vincoli Basilica, where you can admire the Mose by Michelangelo, the Colosseum and then Via dei Fori Imperiali.
